Our story began in Berlin – in the vibrant neighbourhood of Prenzlauer Berg, where a friendship and a shared passion for considered, sustainable fashion planted the seed of what HUG would become.

We always loved fashion – but not the fast, disposable kind – so we started looking for independent, sustainable labels that care about how their clothes are made as much as how they look.

Today, HUG is an independent women's clothing and lifestyle boutique in the market town of Woodbridge, Suffolk – both bricks-and-mortar and online – with a simple belief: that style and sustainability don't have to be mutually exclusive.

We showcase a carefully curated mix of independent and unique European brands alongside labels from the UK and beyond – sourced with intention, chosen with care.

Our shop is nestled alongside other brilliant independents on Market Hill in Woodbridge – a town that champions independent retail, and the perfect home for what we do.

As official stockists of every brand we carry – including ARMEDANGELS, Sugarhill Brighton, Suite13LAB, RECOLUTION, Danefæ, Mademoiselle YéYé, Harley of Scotland, and TWOTHIRDS – you can shop with confidence knowing every piece is authentic and sourced directly.

Our brands work predominantly with natural and eco-friendly materials – organic cotton, wool, Tencel™, and EcoVero™ – as well as repurposed fibres like recycled polyester.

We love simple, clean silhouettes just as much as vibrant colours and fun prints. Beautifully crafted basics, luxurious knitwear, a variety of denim styles, fabulous dresses — garments made to last.
