KLUE is a French brand founded in 2019 with a simple but exacting brief: to make the world’s most sustainable socks and accessories, without compromising on quality, colour, or value. Based in Paris, the brand produces in limited quantities to avoid overproduction — one of fashion’s most persistent and damaging problems.
Materials & certifications
KLUE works with merino wool, organic cotton, and lyocell — all sustainably sourced and woven at partner workshops certified by Oeko-Tex, WoolMark, BSCI, and GOTS. Their packaging is recyclable or already made from recycled materials, and deliveries are made by road or sea rather than air freight.
Why socks matter
Socks are one of the most frequently replaced items in any wardrobe — which makes the material choices behind them particularly meaningful. KLUE’s use of natural fibres means their socks are not only more comfortable and durable, but also biodegradable at end of life, unlike conventional synthetic alternatives.
