About ECOALF
ECOALF was founded in Madrid in 2009 by Javier Goyeneche, driven by a straightforward conviction: there is no future in fashion without a future for the planet. The brand set out to create the first generation of products made entirely from recycled materials — without compromising on quality, design, or performance.
Materials & innovation
ECOALF works with recycled nylon from ocean fishing nets, recycled polyester from plastic bottles, repurposed wool, and other innovative materials recovered from waste streams. Their Upcycling the Oceans project — a partnership with fishermen across Spain, Thailand, and Greece — has recovered thousands of tonnes of waste from the seabed and transformed it into wearable fabric.
Design & wearability
ECOALF’s aesthetic is clean, contemporary, and deliberately timeless. Lightweight puffer jackets, considered knitwear, and versatile everyday pieces sit at the core of the collection — each one designed to perform well, look refined, and last far beyond a single season.
