What is LENZING™ ECOVERO™?
LENZING™ ECOVERO™ is an eco-responsible viscose fibre developed by Lenzing AG — the same company behind TENCEL™. It is derived from sustainably sourced wood pulp, produced in certified facilities, and manufactured using a process that generates significantly lower emissions and water use than conventional viscose.
Unlike generic viscose — which can have an opaque and problematic supply chain — ECOVERO™ fibres carry an EU Ecolabel certification and are traceable back to the source forest. Brands using ECOVERO™ can verify the fibre content using Lenzing’s tracking system, providing genuine accountability.
How it wears
ECOVERO™ has the softness, drape, and breathability that make viscose so popular for flowing dresses, blouses, and lightweight tops — but with far better sustainability credentials. It feels cool against the skin, moves beautifully, and is well-suited to year-round wear.
Caring for ECOVERO™
Hand wash or machine wash on a delicate cycle at 30°C. Do not wring — press gently in a towel to remove excess water and hang or lay flat to dry. Iron on a low-medium setting while slightly damp. Avoid tumble drying, which can cause shrinkage and distort the drape.
